11日下午，习近平总书记来到海南热带雨林国家公园五指山片区，沿木栈道步行察看公园生态环境。习近平强调，海南以生态立省，海南热带雨林国家公园建设是重中之重。要跳出海南看这项工作，视之为“国之大者”，充分认识其对国家的战略意义，再接再厉把这项工作抓实抓好。
